Reason #1: It Is God’s Will That All Men Be Saved

It is the heart of God that all people on every continent be reconciled with Him. As followers of Christ we too should have the same heart. At the very least we should want every man, woman, boy, and girl in our community to be reconciled to God, but to share the heart of God should compel us not to rest until every person on Earth has become a follower of Christ.
According to city-data.com only 22.38% of the Athens City population is affiliated with a religious congregation. If those numbers are accurate then 77.62% of our community is a mission field.
We should focus on reaching new people because the overwhelming majority of our city is not connected with a faith community which allows them to explore the the truth about God.
