  2. Love the list! Other ideas

    - Take up other people’s trays at a food court
    - Hand out free stamps at the post office
    - Hand out cold water at a community event (summer)
    - Digital Camera plus colored printer = free portraits
    - Free oil changes (if your handy like that)

    • These are great additions. As Todd points out below, this could be a never ending list. We have a great list going here that could be done as individuals or as a group. If you read Nolan’s comment below, he is not only doing a good deed, but going the extra mile and coordinating others to help. He’s a true Jedi.

  3. And share this list with everyone you know. Spreadin’ the gospel through lovin’ others is exactly what Jesus said to do.

    • Chris is sharing this list with others. See below. I sat through a message yesterday where the pastor encouraged us to be messengers of hope. What better way to do that than with kindness?

What a great start to what could be a never ending list!
My addition would be: Don’t just tell your friends how much they mean to you…show them. Do something special for them!

  5. This is good stuff. I’m forwarding this to everyone on staff here.

    • I love it when Jesus stuff goes viral!

Your reply got me to thinking about office life. Here are a few ideas that just came to mind.

      1) My wife had me stop and buy her office manager a coffee this morning. So coffee or sodas as a gift could be a great way to say thank you or I’m thinking about you.
      2) How about covering the phones for an administrative person so that they can catch up on other needed work.
      3) How about bringing everyone around and introducing them to the new employee one at a time instead of the awkward here is all 25 of our office staff hope you remember their name meetings.
      4) If your the boss, maybe you could give up your priority parking space to a valued employee for a week or a month. Or to an expecting mother.

I’m sure those that work in an office could add more here as well.

  6. Our neighbors and friends are expecting and the wife has been put on strict bedrest. My wife insisted to them that we will be providing dinner once a week for the duration of her pregnancy and has started a list for some of our other friends to show them love in this way. Great list, bro!

    • This is Jedi level kindness. Not only providing a meal, but going the extra mile and getting others involved. I know the husband will be grateful that he doesn’t have to live off bagels and tv dinners.

So often, there are opportunities all around us and we just miss them because we aren’t looking for them. May God bless you for your good deeds!

  7. Lord, we have a great list of ideas being put together here. I pray that you would stir our heart so that we will take action with this knowledge and not let it grow stagnant here in cyberspace.
